Getting Started
What is Cardtoshi?+
Cardtoshi is a non-KYC virtual Mastercard service that lets you convert cryptocurrency into a spendable virtual debit card. You create an account with just your email, deposit crypto, and get a virtual card instantly — no identity verification required.
Do I need to complete KYC to sign up?+
No. Cardtoshi only requires your email address to create an account. We never ask for your name, passport, ID, driver's licence, selfie, proof of address, phone number, or any other personal information. This will never change.
How long does it take to get a card?+
Seconds. Cardtoshi issues virtual cards — there's nothing to manufacture or ship. Once you pay the $15 issue fee, your card number, expiry date, and CVV are generated instantly and displayed in your dashboard.
What is the minimum first deposit?+
The minimum first deposit to your Cardtoshi wallet is $20 in crypto equivalent. This covers the $15 card issue fee and gives you a small starting balance. After your account is funded, there is no minimum on subsequent top-ups.
What countries can use Cardtoshi?+
Cardtoshi is available worldwide. Since we don't require KYC, there are no country-level verification restrictions. As long as you can access our website and send cryptocurrency, you can use Cardtoshi.
Cards & Limits
How many cards can I have?+
Each Cardtoshi account can hold up to 3 active virtual Mastercards at the same time. Each card costs $15 to issue and carries its own $5,000 monthly spending limit. With 3 cards, your combined monthly capacity is $15,000.
What is the monthly spending limit?+
Each card has a $5,000 USD monthly spending limit. This resets on the 1st of each calendar month. If you need more capacity, you can create up to 3 cards per account for a combined monthly limit of $15,000.
Can I use the card at ATMs?+
No. Cardtoshi issues virtual cards for online spending only. Virtual cards cannot be used at ATMs or physical point-of-sale terminals. They are designed for online merchants, subscriptions, and services that accept Mastercard.
Does the card expire?+
Your card has an expiry date printed on it (visible in your dashboard). When it expires, you can issue a new card for the standard $15 fee. Your account balance is unaffected by card expiry — funds stay in your wallet.
Can I freeze or cancel a card?+
Yes. You can freeze and unfreeze your cards instantly from your Cardtoshi dashboard. If a card is compromised, you can permanently cancel it and issue a new one for $15. Any remaining balance is returned to your wallet.
Can I give my card a custom name?+
Yes. When creating a card you can set a custom cardholder name. This is the name that appears at checkouts during payment. Many users use a pseudonym or a general name like "John Smith" — completely up to you.
Deposits & Fees
What cryptocurrencies can I deposit?+
Cardtoshi supports 20+ cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, SOL, XMR, USDT, USDC, BNB, AVAX, BCH, DAI, DASH, DOGE, LTC, POL, SHIB, TON, TRX, HMSTR, VERSE, CGPT, and more. Check your deposit page for the full current list and supported networks.
What is the reload fee?+
Loading funds onto your card costs a flat 3% of the amount transferred. For example, if you load $100 onto your card, the fee is $3 and your card receives $97. This is the only fee charged on reloads — no other costs apply.
Are there any other fees besides the $15 issue fee and 3% reload?+
No. Absolutely none. No monthly maintenance fee, no FX markup, no currency conversion surcharge, no inactivity fee, no statement fee, no minimum balance fee. The $15 issue fee and 3% reload fee are the complete and total list of costs.
How fast do deposits arrive?+
Crypto deposits credit to your Cardtoshi wallet after the standard number of network confirmations for each coin (typically 1–6 confirmations). Once credited, you can immediately load the funds onto your card. Card loads are instant.
Can I withdraw funds back to crypto?+
Currently, Cardtoshi wallets are deposit-only — funds are converted to USD on deposit and used for card spending. Crypto withdrawals are not supported at this time. We recommend only depositing what you intend to spend.
Spending & Compatibility
Does the card work with PayPal?+
Yes. Cardtoshi cards support 3D Secure (3DS) authentication, which means they work seamlessly with PayPal. You can add your Cardtoshi card to PayPal and use it to fund your PayPal balance or make direct payments.
Does it work with Wise?+
Yes. Wise accepts Mastercards with 3DS, which is fully supported by Cardtoshi. You can add your card to Wise to fund your Wise balance or make transfers through the Wise platform.
What kinds of merchants does the card NOT work with?+
The following merchant categories are blocked: gambling and online casinos, adult content platforms, weapons and firearms dealers, illegal goods or services, cryptocurrency exchanges and purchasing platforms, wire transfer services, and other high-risk categories as determined by our card processor.
Can I use the card for recurring subscriptions?+
Yes. Cardtoshi cards work for recurring subscription payments — Netflix, Spotify, SaaS tools, VPN services, cloud hosting, and more. Ensure your card has a sufficient balance before each billing date, as declines occur if funds are insufficient.
In what currency does the card spend?+
Your Cardtoshi card balance is held in USD. When you spend at merchants in other currencies, the conversion happens at standard Mastercard exchange rates with no additional FX markup from Cardtoshi. You pay exactly what Mastercard converts.
Privacy & Security
What data does Cardtoshi store about me?+
Cardtoshi stores your email address, transaction history (deposits and card loads), and card details. We do not store your name, location, government ID, or any identity information — because we never ask for it.
Why should I use Monero (XMR) to deposit?+
Monero is a privacy-focused cryptocurrency where all transactions are untraceable by design — unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum where transactions are publicly visible on the blockchain. If you want complete end-to-end financial privacy, depositing with XMR means no one can trace the funds from your wallet to Cardtoshi.
Is my card information safe?+
Yes. Card details are encrypted and only visible to you in your secure dashboard. We use industry-standard security practices. If you suspect your card details have been compromised, you can freeze or cancel your card instantly from the dashboard.
What happens if my card is used fraudulently?+
If you notice an unauthorized transaction, freeze your card immediately in the dashboard and contact our support team at [email protected]. We will investigate and work to resolve the issue. We recommend never sharing your card details publicly.
Support
How do I contact support?+
You can reach our support team by email at [email protected]. We offer 24/7 customer support. Response times are typically under 2 hours during business hours.
My card was declined. What should I do?+
First, check that your card has sufficient balance and that the merchant accepts virtual Mastercards. If the merchant falls in a blocked category, the card will decline. If the issue persists, contact support at [email protected] with the merchant name and transaction details.
My deposit hasn't arrived. What should I do?+
Most deposits arrive after the standard blockchain confirmations (1–6 depending on the network). If your deposit hasn't arrived after 2 hours and shows confirmed on the blockchain, email [email protected] with your transaction hash (TXID) and we'll investigate promptly.
